Position Title: Associate Registrar for Systems and Web Development Manager
Job Description: This position is responsible for developing strategic plans and policies to guide the efficient and effective operations of a wide variety of technological enrollment services in a highly dynamic academic environment.

The Associate Registrar analyzes designs, recommends, implements and maintains administrative systems and business processes.  Responsible for the smooth technical operation and development of Banner student services (student registration transactions, grading, transcripts, degrees, withdrawal services, imaging and workflow), as well as the online transcript system, scheduling system, and all web information and applications.  Analyzes current and future needs by developing technical requirements, evaluating potential designs for feasibility and cost effectiveness, analyzing and designing aspects of the user system, including programming and documenting the system software and standards, and presenting project plans and training during implementation.  Specifies, designs, and programs departmental student transactions and systems including web software, portal interfaces, student web transactions, workflow processes and imaging operations. Leads the testing for the Student Team when upgrading software.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Progressive managerial and leadership background in a complex, service-oriented, records and registration setting, including motivating and directing teams
  • Extensive knowledge of Federal and State policies that affect higher education in Colorado, including FERPA
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing, evaluating developing and implementing the use of web information, applications, and forms utilizing current web technologies as well as social media and mobile applications  

The successful candidate will demonstrate solid communication, interpersonal and customer relations skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Web development, IIS and Web Server Technologies, html, asp, .net, PHP, content management in PHP (Word Press, Drupal, TikiWiki), database technologies (MS SQL server, MySQL), and MS SharePoint
  • Knowledge in current technologies TCIP Networking, Windows Server and Desktops including Active Directory, hardware, software, and technical support, Adobe Systems Software, web app development for apple, android, and social media
