Position Title: Post Doctoral/Post Masters positions- Treatment methods for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) in water and wastewater – Civil and Environmental Engineering
Job Description:

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at the Colorado School of Mines is hiring multiple full-time Postdoctoral or Postmaster Researchers to conduct research aimed at developing and evaluating treatment methods for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) in water and wastewater. The positions will work with Prof. Chris Bellona and Dr. James Rosenblum at Colorado School of Mines Water Technology Hub. Work will involve developing and evaluating innovative treatment technologies for PFAS removal from water and industrial waste streams. Research will involve laboratory and analytical techniques. Faculty and senior researchers will be present to help mentor and guide the researchers.  

Appointments are for one year; renewal is possible. 

Minimum Qualifications:

The minimum requirement is a Ph.D. (for Postdoctoral position) or master’s degree (for Postmasters position) in one or more specialized fields within environmental science, public health, and engineering or a closely related field. Candidates will be evaluated based on appropriate education and skills to meet the requirements of the projects under which they will be employed and conduct research. Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on research experience.
