Colorado School of Mines invites applications for temporary administrative support positions. Our goal is to create a pool of interested and qualified individuals whom we may contact as temporary needs arise. Duties may include office administrative support, reception, meeting/event planning, travel arrangements, record keeping, reconciling procurement card accounts, inventory and procurement of office supplies, preparing correspondence, scanning/copying, website editing, etc. We are looking for energetic people who are highly organized, detail-oriented and possess outstanding interpersonal, customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).
Temporary employment at Mines does not include benefits and duration of assignments vary from a few weeks to 9-12 months. - 2 plus years of administrative assistant experience
- Must be proficient in word processing, spreadsheet and calendaring software
- Prior administrative experience in a higher education setting
- 2 plus years of technical accounting/bookkeeping
- Experience with Banner
