Position Title: Department of Computer Science - Post-Doctoral Fellow

Job Description:

The MIRRORLab at the Colorado School of Mines is seeking a Post-Doctoral Researcher for a full-time position in the Department of Computer Science. The successful candidate will work with Dr. Tom Williams to investigate how robots can optimally vary the harshness of their moral remonstrations to discourage moral and social norm violations. The selected candidate will perform qualitative analysis, human-subject experimentation, and machine learning research towards these goals while mentoring graduate and undergraduate students and assisting with laboratory management and outreach efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:

PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Information Science, or related fields, effective 8/1/20; experience with qualitative, experimental, and/or machine learning methods; publication record, as proven by peer-reviewed papers in relevant fields; effective written and oral interpersonal skills; genuine commitment to advancing equity and inclusion in Computer Science.
