Position Title: Videographer Intern
Pay Range: $12.32 per hour
The Opportunity:

The Intern will work closely with the Communications Manager, Producer to: 

  • Produce one-minute Mines Minute episodes on Mines’ people, activities, research and news
  • Conduct interviews for use in Mines promotions, ads and other packages
  • Champion new approaches to digital storytelling via Mines video packages, social media tools and more
Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Demonstrated skill in video editing software, ideally within the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to meet deadlines 
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Owns a camera capable of shooting 1080p video
  • Owns a computer capable of running the Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Premiere Pro)
  • Knowledge of social media trends including approaches on platforms including TikTok, Instagram and more

Total Rewards: This is a temporary, non-benefited internship with an expected salary of $12.32 per hour for approximately ten hours per week.
